Autism information

Autism, or autism spectrum disorder, applies to a gamut of conditions. These factors are identified by challenges with interpersonal skills, repeated behaviours, verbal and nonverbal communication, together with exceptional strengths and characteristics.  

There are many types of autism caused by environmental and genetic factors. The word “spectrum” mirrors the broad diversity in behaviours and strengths an autistic person has.
